I had a 125 Yamaha scooter sitting in my garage for 10 (yes-10)years. The tank was rusted , etc. The bike had a total of 75 miles on it. Took it to where I purchased it and was told everything was discontinued, including the tank and they wanted an outrageous amount to fix it. I was so discouraged... Well people, I got lucky by finding Bastrop Mobile Services! Alvin and his son were able to save it and I have one extremely happy Grandaughter! These guys are professional and know their stuff. I would recommend them to anyone and have already done so.

Wish I would have read the reviews on this place. Robert is quite the liar and bullshitter when it comes to his service. Last Friday marked the 2nd time in the last month he has had my car for over 2 weeks for warranty repairs. When I called Friday morning to get a status Robert replied "oh I forgot about it"--about my car, that has been in his possession for an accumulated month. If you love not getting honest answers and mistruths about your vehicle this is definitely the place to go. He'll lie to you the whole way through. And it's Monday and still don't have my car back.

While the service we received was fine, the price was outrageous. After doing a little research, I found that they charged us almost double what other shops in town charged. When asked, the owner said some crap about eggs and bacon... also his son, I think his name was Shaune, was extremely rude to us.

In Feb 2012 I took my Tundra in to get an insurance quote after being rear-ended. I also needed some other work done that would not be covered by insurance. Ken gave me what I thought was a very fair quote for all the work. The insurance company accepted the quote without question. I took my truck in on a Thursday and it was complete on Friday of the next week. My truck looked like new!! They fixed the bumper area and a large dent/crease on the right back side of the bed. They also painted both sides of the bed to remove scratches, etc. I have to say you can't tell where the new paint ended... they blended it so well. On top of it all, the truck was filthy and covered with bugs when I took it in. They washed it, I couldn't find a single bug left :), and vacuumed out the interior. I would recommend Ken to anyone for any work needed.

I had my car towed to this shop and Mike informed me that he would not charge us for him to just look at the vehicle. Mike also informed us that we could bring in new tires and he would install them for $7.50/per tire. After Mike changed his mind at the last minute he ended up charging us $37.50 to just tell us what was wrong, and would not install new tires unless we bought them from him. After arriving to Mike's shop to pick up the car so that we could take it to a Tire Shop for a less expensive price, I confronted Mike about his false promises. Mike responded with "Get the F%$# out of my shop" and "Take your piece of S$%@ with you." He also said to my mother "Get the F#$@ out you ugly old B#$%!" I think everyone needs to be warned about this more than awful experience. Mike also pushed the receipt in my moms face and as a result of that we filed a police report against him. BE CAUTIOUS! We are not from Lockhart, TX so we did not have any idea as to how disrespectful Mike was. It wasn't until the Police Officer that we filed the claim with informed us that he has had numerous claims filed against him for harassment. DON'T GO TO THIS SHOP!!!

Was double billed to my debit card for one car wash! I left about 8 phone messages and no one has ever called me back. Some customer service huh!! His answer machine is now full and no message can be left.

Durin the labor day holiday weekend, Sunday, 09/01/2013, one of my Harley customers from Houston experienced a flat tire in Austin. I contacted Mad Mad Motorsports. The owner without hesitation committed to taking care of the customer. He made arrangements to trailer the bike to his place, repaired the flat tire, and sent my client safely on his way. My wife took my Jeep radiator in today. "I can lie to you, but I can't lie to the equipment" Translation - I won't waste your money trying to fix it. Straight-shooter. That's wisdom, and a way different tune from the shop in town that wanted to redo it. I hope I get a chance to bring him some business.
